SUMMARY:Trivia Fundraiser for Kids & Youth Camps
DESCRIPTION:Did you know that no letter before 1000 has an A in it? Or that the Pope can’t be an organ donor? If you didn’t\, time to brush up your random knowledge skills for our upcoming Trivia fundraiser! Bring your skills and your wallet for an afternoon of great trivia\, games and plenty of yummy food. \nAll proceeds from the event will go towards partnering with our young people and sending them to two great camps later this year: Square One for those in years 3-6 and KYCK for those in years 7-12. The cost of these camps\, particularly housing our teenagers at KYCK\, is increasing every year and we want to make sure as many of our young people can benefit from them as possible. Please prayerfully consider giving generously to the cause. \nDetails: Saturday August 9th\, 4:30pm-7pm\n$15 per adult and free for kids and youth.\nThere will be food platters to purchase for your tables\, as well as cakes to buy\, and plenty of activities for people of all ages \nYou can register for the afternoon here.\nIf you can’t make the afternoon\, but you would still like to donate\, you can also follow the registration link and give a donation there\, or speak with Renee to hear some other options.\nAll are welcome to join us; we hope to see you there!

It’s a safe place to express doubts\, ask questions\, and explore the big questions of life. \nOur next course starts on Wednesday 6th November\, from 6:30pm-8:30pm. DESCRIPTION:This seminar will equip you to identify\, understand\, and show care for someone who is struggling with their mental health. All of us have a part to play in caring for those around us\, and sometimes it’s tricky to know how to help when those struggles have to do with mental health. \nWhat should we do when someone shares that they’re struggling with their mental health? What does it look like to practically care for someone? What are our limits? \nWe’ll be sharing lots of practical ways to know how to help (and what to avoid) as we care for those in need. \nThe seminar is hosted by Trinette Stanley. Trinette is part of Anglicare’s Family and Life Skills Education team\, working with local Churches to equip them with knowledge and skills to lovingly care for those who are wrestling with mental health concerns.

DESCRIPTION:What was the first soft drink in space? If you answered Coca Cola\, you’re on your way to becoming a trivia master! Why not come and flex your skills at our trivia fundraiser on August 5th. All proceeds from the event will go towards partnering with our young people and sending them to two great camps later this year: Square One for those in years 3-6 and KYCK for those in years 7-12. \nDetails: Saturday August 5th\, 4pm-6pm\n$10 per adult and free for kids and youth.\nThere will be a BBQ\, a bake sale and some other activities for a gold coin donation (including face painting!) \nYou can register for the afternoon here.\nIf you can’t make the afternoon\, but you would still like to donate\, you can also follow the registration link and give a donation there\, or speak with Renee to hear some other options.\nAll are welcome to join us; we hope to see you there!
