DESCRIPTION:Jesus. \nThat one name carries with it so much history\, significance and sometimes a little confusion. \nThere are many different opinions about Jesus and ideas about who he is\, what he has done\, and how important he is to people today. \nWe believe that Jesus is the key to making sense of all of life; that he knows the best way for humans to live; and that he helps us to understand why our world is the way that it is\, why our lives matter\, and what our meaning and purpose is. \nUltimately\, we believe there is nothing better in life than discovering Jesus for yourself – but how can it be done? \nDiscover Jesus is a four-week course to help people discover Jesus for themselves! \nOver the course of four meals\, Discover Jesus tells the story of who Jesus is\, why he came\, and how he calls each of us to respond. It’s a safe place to express doubts\, ask questions\, and explore the big questions of life. \nOur next course starts on Wednesday 6th November\, from 6:30pm-8:30pm. DESCRIPTION:This year’s Know Jesus themed Women’s Event at Blacktown Anglican Church is happening on Saturday 18th of June\, as we livestream the 2022 Equip Conference! The first session starts at 10am and the conference concludes at 3pm. \nThe day will include two incredibly practical teaching sessions on the theme ‘City of Tears: When will God comfort” from the book of Lamentations\, plus a great lunch. You’ll need to book a ticket through the Equip website for $20\, plus we’re asking everyone to bring $5 on the day for lunch. \nTo RSVP for catering before the day\, you can put your name down on the clipboard at church (it will be at the Welcome Desk as you arrive\, and then some ladies will be walking around with it after the service) or email Renee (renee@bac.org.au).
