Sermons Series: Discipleship Convictions

We probably all agree that we have a commission from the Lord Jesus to make disciples and teach them to obey him. But it’s easy for this mission to get buried in all the things we have to do to run a church. How can we make sure that we keep our eye on the goal of becoming a church of disciple-making disciples?
A team from our church has been working through the book The Vine Project to help us think about how to do that. The first phase of this process is to think hard about our convictions about discipleship. What is a disciple, how do you make one, who should do it? These are all basic questions for any church. This series will help us think about the answers as we sharpen our convictions about our Lord’s great commission, and what it means for us at Christ Church Blacktown.
