What can I expect
Blacktown Anglican Church has been producing Carols in the Park for the last few years. Each year
we try to add something extra. This year through our partnership with radio station Hope 103.2 we
also have a big video screen so that everyone will get to see what’s going on. Hope 103.2 radio
personalities Laura and Duncan will MC the evening.
How do I get there?
Francis Park Blacktown is located on the corner of Richmond Road and Balmoral Street Blacktown.
The carpark on Richmond Road near Balmoral Street fills up quickly but the carpark in the
showground near Kent Street is a good overflow option.
What time should I get there?
The carols begin at 730pm but come early and grab a great spot. Bring a picnic dinner or you can
purchase food at the venue.
What should I bring?
Many people bring folding chairs, a picnic blanket and food for a picnic or you can purchase food at
the venue. There is no cost for the carols but battery operated candles are available for a donation
of $2.50 to Anglicare’s Christmas Appeal – Toy’s and Tucker
Does it cost anything?
The carols are free but battery operated candles will be available for $2.50. All proceeds from the
sale of candles go to Anglicare’s Toy’s and Tucker Christmas appeal.
Can I sing along?
Absolutely. And to make that easy for you a free programme with all the carols will be available.
Are there other Christmas events?
Blacktown Anglican Church would like to invite all members and guests to join us to celebrate
Christmas this year. All the following services will be held at Blacktown Anglican Church, corner of
Richmond Road and Orallo Avenue. The car park is located off Orallo Avenue.
